| The Messenger explores the cell phone as mediator. Truncated narratives, ambiguously ominous or poignant, read as condensed and exclusive. While passively displaying its message, the apparatus of mediation has a frustrated life; swollen with its own need for connectivity, it takes on characteristics of the burden of its charge. | ||
