I really want to discuss this word with other people, so I make business cards and
attempted to give them away downtown. There were of course a majority of people who
avoided contact, those who were disinterested, but sympathetically took one, and
other's, intrigued by what the cards were for, who spoke with me. The cards acted
as a conversation starter, and people told stories and gave their own personal
definitions. One man quoted me a poem he had written about love and described love
as the most vulnerable feeling, as you had to open yourself up to the possibility
to be hurt in order to experience it. |
